The K.I.N. Foundation, Inc. (Kids In Need Foundation) is dedicated to empowering youth ages 5–18 by providing free programs, resources, mentorship, and opportunities that support academic success, personal development, social-emotional growth, and community engagement.

To empower at-risk youth to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally by providing safe, structured, and enriching after-school programs that foster confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills.

Our Story
The K.I.N. Foundation was founded in 2025 to give kids in Marianna, Florida a safe, supportive place to land — especially the ones facing real challenges at school or in their communities. Too many young people run into academic struggles, behavioral obstacles, or simply don't have anywhere structured to go after the school day ends. K.I.N. was created to change that: to give those kids a real chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
K.I.N. is more than an after-school program — it's a community where children are encouraged to discover their potential, try new things, and take steps toward a brighter future. We aim to prove just how much of a difference a safe, structured, and supportive environment can make in a child's life.
Who We Serve
K.I.N. serves youth ages 5 through 18 in Marianna, Florida — and recognizes that supporting a child well means supporting their family too. All of K.I.N.'s programs are free, giving families access to mentorship, academic support, life skills, and community resources at no cost.

How We Support Youth
Our approach follows a simple idea: young people who are supported today become leaders who lift others up tomorrow. Day to day, that takes shape as an after-school program combining tutoring, mentorship, life skills, and hands-on enrichment activities — the kind of consistent, structured time that helps kids build confidence, stay engaged in school, and explore new opportunities. Families and community partners are part of that approach too, working alongside K.I.N. to support each child's growth and celebrate their successes.
